Where art narrates time and shapes the future.
Archivio Storico is an auction house focused on contemporary art, active for over twenty years in building valuable paths for Artists from all across the world.
Operating as an auction house means working at the most sensitive point in the art system: where the symbolic value of the artwork meets the market. For Archivio Storico, the auction is therefore not an isolated event, but a tool for analysis, positioning and consolidation of artistic work overtime.
A selective, curatorial approach
The work of the curatorial office at Archivio Storico Casa d’Aste is based on selectivness. Each artist that cooperates with us is integrated within a project that is consistent, taking into account research, critical context, and the sustainability of market value. We do not pursue quantity or overexposure. We prioritize continuity, credibility, and controlled positioning.
Between institution, publishing and market
As a contemporary auction house, Archivio Storico forms partnerships with museums, art biennials, specialized publishers e international exhibition venues, integrating these fields into a unified strategic vision. Our presence in international contexts stems from this cross-disciplinary approach, which considers art as an investment asset , a complex and interconnected system, not as a sum of isolated opportunities.
International projects and events
Exhibitions, auctions, publishing events and institutional cooperations are part of our program, built within decades. This website's section "Events" presents a selection of completed and upcoming projects, offering a concrete overview of our operational method, our international dimension and our way to intend contemporary art today.

Maestro Francesco Bitonti
Francesco Bitonti (1949 – 2022) was an Italian artist born in Calabria region, and he had deep spiritual sensitivity. His painting is characterized by a symbolic and mystic expressionism, often aimed at investigating the themes of faith and the sacred through intense chromatic language and decisive gestures.
Founder of an artistic movement called "Introspezionismo Artistico", and author of the namesake book (published in 2017), his research gained the attention of international collectors, joining relevant events as ARTEXPO New York (2024), Collectionist Gallery – Cancelleria Vaticana Palace in Rome (2024), Spectrum Art Fair Miami (2023), Biennal “Arte EXPO” in Sanremo (2023). Also, in June 2026,Giunti's "Atlante dell’Arte Contemporanea" – one of the reference publications for the critical and market mapping of contemporary art – will be presented at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, and will have an entire page dedicated to the artistic production of Maestro Bitonti.
Become our partner
We are constantly looking for creative minds who face their artistic research as a professional practice, and who are looking for a structured dialogue with the system of contemporary art. Every collaboration is born from a direct confrontation and a taylor-made evaluation of artist's needs in relation to market's characteristics.
